Singular Psy Multicultural Counselling was founded with a simple belief: everyone deserves a space where they feel understood, respected, and supported. Inspired by our own experiences navigating different cultures, languages, and identities, we created a practice that combines professional counselling with cultural understanding and genuine human connection. Today, we provide multilingual, culturally responsive care that helps individuals build resilience, overcome challenges, and create meaningful change while feeling empowered to be their authentic selves.
We also offer direct billing through eClaims (TELUS Health) and PRAS Insurance. Please contact us for more information or to confirm your coverage.

Welcome! My name is Paulo, a student therapist pursuing a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University and a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). With over 20 years of experience in mental health and clinical settings in Canada and Brazil, I support adults facing trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, addiction, self-esteem challenges, abuse, and suicidal ideation. My approach is grounded in empathy, cultural humility, and respect for each client’s unique experiences. I have extensive experience working with culturally diverse communities and provide services in English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
Hello/Bonjour/Ola! My name is Clarissa, a trilingual therapist. I completed my undergraduate studies in psychology in Brazil and earned a Master of Education in Counselling from the University of Saint-Boniface in 2022. I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC). I work with youth and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, grief, immigration challenges, and career transitions. My approach is person-centred and supportive, integrating motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and solution-focused strategies. In my free time, I enjoy travelling, spending time with family and friends, reading, watching movies, and playing with my dog and cat.

The Singular Psy logo was created as a reflection of personal growth, self-discovery, and transformation. Inspired by the butterfly, a universal symbol of change and renewal, it represents the journey many individuals experience through counselling: moving from challenge and uncertainty toward clarity, healing, and growth.
Within the butterfly’s wings, subtle human profiles symbolize self-reflection, awareness, and the meaningful connections that support emotional well-being. At its centre, the individual remains the focus, reflecting our belief that every person’s story is unique and worthy of care.
Together, these elements embody Singular Psy’s commitment to creating a compassionate space where individuals can better understand themselves, embrace change, and move forward with confidence and authenticity.
